Cleantech & Sustainability Investor Connect 2026 brings opportunities and partnerships for green startups

March 17, 2026 - The green innovation ecosystem in the Republic of Moldova has strengthened and gained increased visibility during the “Cleantech & Sustainability Investor Connect 2026” event, organized by the Public Institution National Center for Sustainable Energy (CNED), in partnership with Tekwill. The event brought together entrepreneurs, investors, and sustainability experts, providing a dynamic platform for dialogue, collaboration, and access to funding opportunities. Media partners of the event were Simpals, point.md, stiri.md.

 

Organized within the GCIP Moldova project, with the support of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) and the Global Environment Facility (GEF), the event aimed to facilitate the dialogue and collaboration among entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, and cleantech ecosystem partners.

 

A key highlight of the event was the presentation of innovative solutions developed by the winners of the GCIP Moldova 2024 and 2025 editions. The start-ups participating in this session included: CND, Ziuzea, Eco Fabrica, Orcolia-Lux, T-shirt Online, Greenhouse DV, Biz Strategy, Hemp Build Solutions, and R.Com.Production - companies offering solutions in energy efficiency, renewable energy, water efficiency, and environmental impact reduction.

 

The agenda also featured relevant case studies on business scaling, presented by PromptEngineering and Simpals, offering participants practical insights into market growth and expansion.

 

Throughout the day, participants benefited from networking sessions, B2B meetings, and applied mentorship, facilitating knowledge exchange and the creation of strategic connections. Funding opportunities were presented by key institutions such as National Agency for Research and Development (NARD), the National Horizon Europe Office, Entrepreneurship Development Organization (ODA), UNDP Moldova, and Fagura.

 

The event brought together a diverse community, including GCIP Moldova alumni, green technology entrepreneurs, investors, banking representatives, development partners, academia, mentors, and industry experts. Direct interactions with potential investors and partners allowed startups to validate ideas, explore collaboration opportunities, and identify sources of funding for growth and expansion.

 

Additionally, mentors Dumitru Vlah and Roman Gluck provided guidance and support to the startups during a dedicated session.

 

“Cleantech & Sustainability Investor Connect 2026” showcased the significant potential of innovative Moldovan solutions to contribute to the green transition and sustainable development.
