Transparency

Transparency

The National Center for Sustainable Energy (CNED) is committed to promoting and implementing a decision-making process in the energy sector that is characterized by transparency and broad participation. We ensure that key decisions and policies in the field of sustainable energy are developed and implemented through an open process, providing citizens, the business community, and other stakeholders with the opportunity to express their views and actively participate.

The main components of our transparent approach to decision-making include:

Public consultation: We organize public consultations and debates on significant policies and initiatives in the energy sector. This gives all stakeholders the opportunity to express their views and concerns on these matters.

Access to information: We provide relevant and up-to-date information on energy policy, decisions made, and ongoing projects. This information is made publicly available through our official website and other communication channels.

Transparency in the decision-making process: We ensure that the decision-making process of the Ministry of Energy complies with legal and regulatory provisions. Important decisions, strategic documents, and relevant reports are published to allow for proper monitoring and evaluation of our activities.

Collaboration with stakeholders: We work closely with the business sector, non-governmental organizations, the academic community, and other stakeholders to ensure effective cooperation and a consultative approach in the development of energy policies and projects.

Decision-making transparency is a key element in building a responsible and sustainable energy sector in the Republic of Moldova, in line with CNED’s objectives.
